Political prisoner Marat Baiazov was taken to the hospital

On July 18, 2023, the investigative detainee in the Kempir-Abad case, political prisoner Marat Baiazov, was transported under reinforced armed guard of automatic riflemen in an ambulance to the HUMAN diagnostic laboratory for examination, as the previously accused had complained about his poor health to the medical unit of the detention facility. In Baiazov’s medical history, the diagnosis of Thyroid Gland Adenoma is recorded. The patient requires further consultation with a specialist endocrinologist and appropriate treatment at a specialized civilian medical institution.
In relation to this matter, the defense has prepared a complaint to the Coalition Against Torture in the Kyrgyz Republic and to the Ombudsman Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.
